In the last years research into meditation has made incredible discoveries and unearthed important findings. Whichever direction the research has taken - whether it was an investigation into meditators' brains, or the areas of neurophysiology, neurobiochemistry or psychology it has become more and more clear that meditation has an effect which maintains good health and supports healing.
If nothing else, this knowledge has led the health insurers to recognize the practice of meditation as being a valid preventative measure which is worthy of support.
In these 3 days the trainers ( Peter Mantell, Psychiatrist andn Ramateertha Doetsch, Medical Doctor) want to offer some insights into these findings. They will share their understanding of what happens in the body - particularly the brain and nervous system - and also the effects on the psyche. This knowledge is helpful when working with people who are in therapeutic processes and/or who are meditating. Practice of meditation and and the imparting of knowledge and understanding will enhance and support each other during these 3 days.
